Sacha Inchi is a seed native to the Peruvian Amazon. The local climate, environmental conditions, and soil contribute to the seeds’ nutrients, high content of unsaturated fatty acids such as OMEGA 3, tocopherols, and antioxidants. The absence of the natural conditions where the seed is indigenous means that seeds cultivated in other countries do not possess the same characteristics.

Omega 3 is the principal fatty acid from Sacha Inchi oil and other variations it’s where the main difference is more appreciated in compare to the asian oil.

Omega-3 consists of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential components of the membranes surrounding every cell in the body. DHA concentrations are particularly high in the retina (eye), the brain, and sperm. Omega-3s also provide calories to give the body energy and play numerous roles in the heart, blood vessels, lungs, immune system, and endocrine system (the network of hormone-producing glands).
The body does not produce omega-3 fatty acids on its own, so it is recommended to obtain them through diet.
